This week in books

This week in books is a weekly meme hosted by Lipsy Lost and Found. It asks what you’ve read recently, what you’re currently reading and what’s at the top of your TBR pile. Taking on a World of Words runs something similar called WWW Wednesday.

What I Am Currently Reading:

What’s Up Next:

  1. I highly commend you for not throwing Wuthering Heights against the wall while re-reading it! I can’t get on with that book at all – I first read it of my own choosing and since have had to read it for A-Level, and my Eng Lit degree and I just dislike it more every time! I much prefer Anne Bronte’s writing to Emily’s. I do love the cover of the edition you read though, it’s gorgeous. Hope you enjoy Transatlantic – it’s on my TBR and I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. Have a great week!

    Here’s my post:

      1. And it’s so odd how many people regard it as “one of the greatest romances”. There is nothing romantic about any of the relationships in the book. Well, potentially Hareton and young Cathy at the end… But otherwise it’s full of unhealthy, abusive relationships!
