This Week in Books: 28-10-15

This week in books is a weekly meme hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. It asks what you’ve read recently, what you’re currently reading and what’s at the top of your TBR pile. Taking on a World of Words runs something similar called WWW Wednesday.

This should nearly be This Month in Books, since its about a month since I last posted. My reading plans went a bit awol over the past month due to a rather hectic month in work. However now I’m hoping to get back on track.

What I Finished:

The Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M Auel

Tales of the Beedle Bard by JK Rowling

Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith (JK Rowling)

Villette by Charlotte Bronte

What I’m Currently Reading:

Continuing my Harry Potter its on to the Half Blood Prince. The end is near 😦

What I’ll read next:

Hmmm this will either be a bookclub book, since I’m now into my bookclub selections for November, probably The Green Road by Anne Enright. However if the second book in the Clan of the Cave Bear series arrives (ordered it last week) – The Valley of the Horses – arrives I’ll be on to that. It’s the new series to which I’m hooked.

What have you been reading this week?

  1. I’m so impressed that you’ve read ‘Career of Evil’ already! Does this one focus more on Strike and Robin than an external mystery? That was my thought from the description. Happy reading!
