This Week in Books: 16-9-15

This week in books

This week in books is a weekly meme hosted by Lipsyy Lost and Found. It asks what you’ve read recently, what you’re currently reading and what’s at the top of your TBR pile. Taking on a World of Words runs something similar called WWW Wednesday.

What I’ve Read Recently?

Well despite being back in work this week I managed to get quite a bit of reading done. I finished both Agnes Grey and The Undertakers Daughter. Agnes Grey was enjoyable but not quite as good as The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. The Undertakers Daughter I really enjoyed and is a strong contender for one of my favourite books of the year.

What I’m Currently Reading?

I’m currently reading You by Nuala Ni Chonchuir (also known as Nuala O’Connor). I’ve been mad busy in work the last few days though so haven’t made much progress on this one.

What I’ll Read Next?

Up next is And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. I’ve never read any of her books but in honour of her 120th birthday a few people in my online book group decided to do a buddy read.

How about you? What books have you read this week.

  1. I’ve been thinking about reading And Then There Were None, too. I’ve not read much Agatha Christie either, and I feel like I should really get onto that.

I really like the cover of The Undertaker’s Daughter. I’m going to go look it up!

Here’s my post for this week.
