Weekend Reading Review: 29-06-2015

my weekend reading

Well as expected it was a very busy, though enjoyable, weekend. Naturally this meant not a huge amount of time for reading. I did manage to finish Silas Marner (I’ll post a review later in the week). Overall I enjoyed it though not as much as The Mill on the Floss.

I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to read next as I don’t yet have any bookclub books to read. (One bookclub is still picking it’s book and the other has selected How To Be Both which I read a few months ago). At a bit of a loss I started First Impressions by Charlie Lovett today. I haven’t yet read enough to make a decision on whether I’ll like it but I’ve hear good things and it is vaguely about Jane Austen specifically Pride and Prejudice, the original title of which was First Impressions. It seems an easy enjoyable summer read anyway.

How about you? What did you read this weekend? Leave a comment below.
